Connecting Your Otter Cloud Printer via Ethernet Cable
Video Password: otter
If you have an Epson TM-T88VI or an Epson TM-m30II-NT printer and an Ethernet cable provided by Otter, please follow these steps to get connected:
- Connect your Otter printer to a power source.
- Connect your Ethernet cable to your printer and an Ethernet port.
- A direct Ethernet connection is the most reliable method of pairing your devices. If you do not have an Ethernet port accessible, you can connect your Ethernet cable to your router, instead. If a router is also out of reach, please contact Otter for further support and equipment.
Once your devices are connected, please follow these steps before turning on your printer:
- Make sure the printer is turned off – the power switch is on the left side of the printer.
- Hold the “FEED” button on the front of the printer.
- Turn the printer back on while keeping the “FEED” button pressed down for at least 5 seconds. A slip should print showing your IP address, confirming that your printer is connected to the internet.
You can double-check your printer’s connection by navigating to the Settings page of your tablet. If properly connected, you should see that your printer is Online.
If you're having trouble setting up your printer, please contact our Support team using your tablet chat, or email us at question@tryotter.com for more assistance.
