Uber Eats: 2-Factor Authentication Walkthrough

Outlined below is a step-by-step process for completing 2-Factor Authentication via Business Manager.

  1. Step 1 - Login

Step 1 - Login

Step 2 - Integrations

  • Navigate to the Integrations section of the left side menu, click the down arrow and select the Connected section



Step 3 - Uber Eats Connections

  • Locate and select the Uber Eats connection, which should show all Uber stores connected to your account


*The following page should show all Uber stores connected to your account.

Step 4 - "Resolve Now"

  • For each store that displays Credential Issues, select Resolve Now on any Uber Eats storefront in the Needs Attention section


  • The Accounts page will pop up after clicking on “Resolve Now”


Step 5 - Connect

  • Select “Connect” for both “Restaurant Manager account” and (if present) “Tablet” accounts:

Step 6 - Login Creds

  • Enter/validate the Uber “USERNAME” + “PASSWORD” + “PIN” (if no PIN, enter NONE)


Step 7 - Email Verification Code

  • For the field “VERIFICATION CODE”, please check your email inbox tied to your Uber account and look for an email sent by Uber labeled “Your Uber Verification code”


Step 8 - Enter Verification Code

  • In your open Otter portal page, enter the 4 digit number in the field titled “VERIFICATION CODE”, and select “Connect”


  • If you have successfully added BOTH to “Restaurant Manager account” and (if present) “Tablet” accounts, then you’re done!

Note-- If you receive the following error message: Please check your email inbox once more and check for the most recent verification code message received from Uber, and try entering the 4 digit code provided.
