What is the Promotions Analytics tab?

Analytics > Promotion tab sends you directly to AnalyticsMarketing tab.

What are the main uses of the Promotions Analytics tab?

From the Promotions Analytics tab, you can track results for all your promotions across storefronts and channels.

Who is Promotions Analytics available to?

This feature is available to all Analytics, Core and Pro customers. Only customers that chose to purchase the Promotions add-on will be able to create and track Promotions within Otter.

Sales, Payout and Discounts Dashboard This dashboard enables you to view the Sales, Payout and Discounts generated by individual promotion or for all your promotions (Otter promoted and non-Otter promoted) and compare them with non-promoted figures.  sales, payout and discounts dashboard.png
Promotion ROI  Promotion ROI widget lets you see how much return on investment your promotions bring in. This feature lets you see the evolution of your promotion ROI over time and compare Otter promotions with non-Otter promotions.  promotion ROI.png
Total order volume With Total Order Volume, you can track the evolution of your orders over time and compare the results of your promotions against the results of orders that were not generated by a promotion. .  total order volume.png
Promotion types Promotion Types widget enables you to see which type of promotion (Free item, order discount, delivery discount, etc.) is performing better. Within this widget, you can see how many sales were generated by promotion type and their ROI promotion types.png
Store ranking The Store Ranking widget lets you see which one of your storefronts is generating the most sales and is bringing in the highest ROI.  store ranking.png
Average order value Average Order Value widget displays the average value of Otter-promote, Non-Otter promoted and Non-promoted orders over the past 7 days so that you can track their evolution.  average order value.png


  • Q: Can I see the results of promotions that I created directly from my delivery channels? 
    • A: Absolutely! Results of promotions created outside of Otter will appear as “Non-Otter promoted” within the dashboard. 
  • Q: Can I modify the date range on the dashboard?
    • A: Yes, the date range can be changed from the dropdown menu on the top left of the dashboard. From there, you can customize the range for which you would like to see your promotion metrics. 
  • Q: Can I view metrics for a specific brand & store? 
    • A: Yes, you can select to display metrics for a store and brand of your choosing by selecting “All brands & stores” tab at the top of the dashboard. 
  • Q: Can I filter promotion results by channel? 
    • A: You can filter promotion metrics by channel by selecting “All channels” tab at the top of the dashboard. 
  • Q: Can I filter promotion results by fulfilment modes? 
    • A: You can filter promotion metrics by fulfilment modes by selecting “All fulfilment modes” tab at the top of the dashboard. 
  • Q: Can I filter promotion metrics by promotion? 
    • A: You can only filter results by promotion for promotions created within Otter. To do so, navigate to “All promotions” tab at the top of the dashboard and select the promotion you wish to display.
