Summary
Prep time refers to the length of time before an order is ready for pickup by a courier.
When auto-confirm is toggled on, prep time is set to 15 minutes by default. When auto-confirm is toggled off, prep times need to be set manually for each incoming order.
Note - Just Eat users cannot adjust prep times. Reach out to our support team and we can help you with this.

- Access Otter Dashboard
- Select Menu and then Integrations
- Edit the prep time for each delivery app as desired
FAQ
What if the prep time in Otter doesn't match the delivery app?
- Prep time is decided by the delivery app based on their own data and our input. Delivery apps can, and will, override prep times in their platform, resulting in a mismatch.
Why are the prep time thresholds different between Otter and some delivery apps?
- Otters maximum prep time is 60 minutes. Some delivery apps allow prep times up to 90 minutes, which can occasionally cause a mismatch for some items.
