Direct Orders allows Merchants to set a minimum basket size or minimum order amount for each specific fulfillment mode.

A minimum basket size or minimum order amount is the lowest dollar amount needed for an Eater to place an order via a Direct Orders website or QR code.

With this feature, Merchants will be able to set minimum basket sizes for Dine-in, Pick-up and Delivery fulfillment modes separately from one another.
Process
All brands/stores
- Log into The Otter Dashboard
- From the Apps menu in the top-left of the screen, go to Direct Orders.
- On the Your Brands page in Direct Orders, click the Settings button in the top-right of the screen.
- The Settings button is marked with the word "Settings" and a gear icon.
- In the Organization settings for all brands menu, click the fulfillment mode you would like to edit.
- Scroll down to the “Fees” section.
- Set a specific Minimum Order Amount.
Specific brands/stores
- Log into The Otter Dashboard
- From the Apps menu in the top-left of the screen, go to Direct Orders.
- On the Your Brands page in Direct Orders, click the View stores button on the store you'd like to edit
- Each brand has its own View Stores button on this page.
- Click on the store’s settings button.
- The Settings button is marked with the word "Settings”.
- Select the fulfillment mode you would like to edit.
- Toggle the override settings to ‘ON’
- Scroll down to the “Fees” section.
- Set a specific Minimum Order Amount.

A merchant can enable minimum basket sizes by going to Direct Orders settings for their organization store or brand and adding a minimum amount under the Dine in or Pick up fulfillment modes.
