How to Set Minimum Basket Sizes

Overview

Direct Orders allows Merchants to set a minimum basket size or minimum order amount for each specific fulfillment mode.
A minimum basket size or minimum order amount is the lowest dollar amount needed for an Eater to place an order via a Direct Orders website or QR code.
With this feature, Merchants will be able to set minimum basket sizes for Dine-in, Pick-up and Delivery fulfillment modes separately from one another.

Log into The Otter Dashboard
From the Apps menu in the top-left of the screen, go to Direct Orders.
On the Your Brands page in Direct Orders, click the Settings button in the top-right of the screen.

In the Organization settings for all brands menu, click the fulfillment mode you would like to edit.
Scroll down to the “Fees” section.
Set a specific Minimum Order Amount.

On the Your Brands page in Direct Orders, click the View stores button on the store you'd like to edit

Click on the store’s settings button.

Select the fulfillment mode you would like to edit.
Toggle the override settings to ‘ON’
Scroll down to the “Fees” section.
Set a specific Minimum Order Amount.

A merchant can enable minimum basket sizes by going to Direct Orders settings for their organization store or brand and adding a minimum amount under the Dine in or Pick up fulfillment modes.
