Location Tagging, empowers Operators users to better understand their business by allowing them to customize how they filter or group their data by placing tags on locations within their Otter Dashboard.

Location Tagging Overview

Features Include:

  • Ability to create custom tags for any of your locations

  • Ability to filter your data these tags

  • Improvements to the Locations / Brands filter

    • Previously Locations and Brand filtering was handled within the same filter. This has now been separated into one filter for Brands and one filter for Locations.

  • Currently this is a standard feature for United States and Canada Region.

  • Other Regions may vary.

How do I create a tag?

  • Navigate to settings > location tags > click “Add Location Tag”

  • Name your tag and create a few options to select from

How do I add a tag to a location?

  • Navigate to Settings> Locations

  • Click on the three dots on the right side of the location you wish to edit

  • Select Edit Tags

How do I remove a tag from a location?

  • Navigate to Settings> Locations

  • Click on the three dots on the right side of the location you wish to edit

  • Select Edit Tags

  • Set the tag you wish to remove to blank

How do I delete a tag group?

  • Navigate to Settings> Location Tags

  • Click on the three dots on the right side of the tag you wish to edit

  • Select delete tags

How do I edit a tag group?

  • Navigate to Settings> Location Tags

  • Click on the three dots on the right side of the tag you wish to edit

  • Select edit tags

Can I add tags to multiple locations at once?

  • Yes, there is a multi select option on the locations page. Please see the image below:
