Otter POS: Printer connection not detected?

Trouble with your printer connection? Let's fix it seamlessly! Follow our guide for stable printing solutions.


Here are steps you can take to fix that.

1. Unpair the printer from the bluetooth settings on the tablet or terminal. Go to the home screen of your device (leave the Otter app) then go to Settings > Bluetooth > Select the printer and choose “Forget Device”.

2. Disconnect the printer from its power source, and then reconnect it.
3. Go to Settings from the home screen of the Otter app, then go to Diagnostics > Restart App.

4. Head back to the Settings menu on the home screen, and navigate to the hardware section.
5. Identify the printer within the list of hardware devices and select it for disconnection.

6. Proceed to reestablish the printer connection by following this article: Otter POS: Connecting your printer.

PLEASE NOTE: If Bluetooth connectivity persists as an issue, try connecting your printer via USB connection instead and follow this article on how to connect your printer again.
