Are you looking to access and download your transaction reports from your Otter POS system? This article will guide you through the process of retrieving your end-of-day reports from both the Otter App and Otter Dashboard. By following these simple steps, you can easily access and analyze your POS data to make informed business decisions.
POS end-of-day reporting can be found in two places:

Otter App (Order Manager) Reporting
- An end of day report can be found within the Otter app and can be printed out. The report includes the details for Sales, Payments, and Channel Sales.

Viewing the End of Day Report in Otter App
Steps Instructions Images 1. Use the user pin to login to the app. 2. Once on the Otter homescreen, click on the new icon in the top right corner of the screen.
This will launch the Report view.
Note: If you do not have the proper permissions or are not logged in as a user with the proper permissions you will be required to pin in again.3. The report includes a Summary at the top and below are 3 tabs:
- Sales
- Payments
- Channel Sales

4. To print a copy of this report click "Print report".
The printed report will include the details from all the tabs (Sales, Payments, and Channel Sales).

Otter Dashboard Reporting
- The POS Transactions report is a POS specific report which shows all transactions that happens on Otter POS. This report uses a similar top level filter.
- This Report also contains very detailed list of transactions that happened on each POS terminal. The following will appear here:

All Sale and Refund (cancellation) transactions including:

Cash

Split Pays
Non-Sale Till Transaction like:
- Pay in and payout with their corresponding note
Details about each sale like:
- POS Terminal
- Till Name
- Amounts
- Discounts

How up-to-date is the data in this report?
This report is real time. There are in some rare situations where it may take up to 5 min for an order to appear.
What data is shown?
- This report is an ad-hoc DAILY report so it will show all data for that day (post-midnight) up to the point at which you launch the report.
- The data will be inclusive of all order information for the location that device is paired to - it is not specific to the device/terminal the report was created on.
