BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device. We allow and even encourage customers with their own devices to sign on with Otter.

For customers who already have a printer and/or Android tablet and want to use the Otter app on their devices, there are a few compatibility details to consider.

Overview

The Otter app runs on Android devices and requires a Bluetooth printer to be connected to the tablet to print order tickets.

Tablet

Any Android device should run our App, however, every tablet is different, so we cannot make guarantees. For the best chance of success, we recommend a device running Android 12 or higher. Suggested brands are Samsung and Lenovo.

Bluetooth Printer

Only the following specific models will work and they must have an Android device running the Otter One App:

Epson TM-m30

Epson TM-m30ii

Epson TM-m30ii-H

Epson TM-H6000V

Epson TM-M50

Epson TM-P80

Rongta RPP02N

Rongta RPP02N-MBU

Rongta RP328-E

Rongta RP328
