Otter POS Training Mode gives you the ability to explore the Otter POS interface and train staff in a test environment. Ring in orders without impacting financial data and other analytics.

When To Use Training Mode
Use Otter POS training mode to train team members and staff on how to use the core functionality of Otter POS.
- Order Lifecycle Simulation: Create and manage orders, including discounting, voiding items, sending items to the kitchen, and making fake payments without impacting real data.
- Receipt Printing: Training mode supports payment receipt printing.
Enable / Disable Training Mode
Enable training mode by selecting [Enable Training Mode] within check options.
Training Mode, certain apps (Storefronts, Menus, Analytics, KDS, Kiosk) are hidden. Customer and station tickets will not print, but payment receipts will. Real payments cannot be made as the payment flow is simulated.
How to: Enable and Disable Training Mode
