Overview
You can access a full overview of your Otter Subscriptions within the Otter Dashboard under the Billing section > Subscriptions page.
From the Subscriptions page, you can:
- View details for active, upcoming, or terminated subscriptions
- View location-specific subscription details
- View hardware and bundle subscription details
- Manage missing or expired payments for subscriptions
- Shop for and request to add products to your subscription
To access the Billing section, you must have the “Billing Admin” role assigned to your user. Only the account owners can assign this role to users.
Viewing Subscriptions
To view your subscriptions, follow the steps below:

Step 1:
Click the Profile icon from the Otter Dashboard. Select [Billing] from the dropdown.

Click the [Subscriptions] tab from the menu on the left side of the page.

Step 3:
From here, you can select from Subscriptions, Locations, or Products to view the specific information you're looking for.

Step 4:
To view subscription details, click on one of the listed subscriptions, locations, or products for further information.

Subscriptions View
Once you select a subscription, you can review the following details:- Subscription overview
- Associated bundle(s) and product(s)
- Subscription status
- Associated payment method
- Next invoice date, start date, and recurring costs

Locations View
To view all locations and their associated bundles and subscriptions, click [Locations] on the Subscriptions page. Select a location from the list to view more details about that location's subscriptions.
Adding a Location
To add a new location to your Otter subscription, you can send a request through our Otter Assistant chatbot from the Otter Dashboard or your Otter tablet. Just click the chat bubble and type “New Location”. From there, you’ll be able to submit your request to our team. -
Products View
To view a full list of bundles and hardware, click [Products] on the Subscriptions page.
Managing Subscription Payment Methods
When viewing your subscription details, you can see the payment method listed for that subscription (see item #4 in the image above). You may need to add or update a payment method if the card on file is expired, missing information, or isn't your preferred card.
Adding a New Payment Method
To add a new payment method for your subscriptions, you can do so from your Subscription Details page (recommended) or from the Payment Methods tab. See below for details on both options.

From your Subscription Details page, click on the Payment method dropdown and select the [+ Add a new method] option.

After navigating from Profile icon > Billing, select [Payment Methods] from the menu on the left side of the page. Click [Add method].
Once the new payment method has been added, you can select that method as the payment option from the Subscription Details page.

Expired Payment Methods
If your payment method for a subscription has expired, you will see a notification on both the Subscriptions page and the Subscriptions Details page. In this case, you'll just need to update your payment method following the steps in the Billing Payment Methods article.

Missing Payment Methods
If a payment method is missing for your Otter subscription, you will see it flagged on both the Subscriptions page and the Subscriptions Details page. To resolve this, you’ll just need to add a payment method to your account.

Adding Products to your Subscriptions
You can easily browse or add new products to your subscription directly within the Subscriptions page.
Follow the steps below to browse or request new Otter products/add-ons to your subscription:
- From the Subscriptions page, click [+Add products].
- Otter Shop window will open to browse.
- Click [Request] on a product you'd like to add.
- Once requested, an Otter teammate will reach out within 72 hours to assist.

FAQs
- In order to edit an existing brand name or add a new brand to your Otter account, reach out to the Otter Support team for help.
