NoteOrder with Google does NOT support multi-menu
Google Food Ordering only supports a single menu per location. If you currently have multiple menus, you can create a menu consolidating all available items into one menu specifically for Google ordering.

Be sure when you publish that consolidated menu that you only publish it for Google ordering.

Google My Business Profile Link

The first step to accepting orders through Google is ensuring you have a Google My Business Profile.

How can I tell if I have a Google Business Profile?

  • Go to Google.com/maps.
  • Search your business name.
  • If your business name populates in the drop-down with an address next to it, you have a profile.

If your restaurant or kitchen doesn’t show up, it’s easy to create your business profile and get your business listed on Google here.

Delivery Setup Details

In order to get delivery orders from Google, you’ll have to let us know how to define the following in Google.

  • Fulfillment type: Do you want pickup only or delivery & pickup?
    • If you choose delivery, you’ll need to decide how you define your area:
      • Polygon - by area
      • Radius - by distance from your location
      • Postal Code
  • Delivery Fee: How much do you want to charge for delivery?
  • Delivery Servicer: If you don’t already have a third party logistics or fleet management software integrated with Otter, we recommend DoorDash Drive for Order with Google.

Troubleshooting

  • Google Food Ordering currently does not support multi-menus. If multi-menus are attempted to be published to Google, you will receive a publishing errors.

To resolve, you can create a menu consolidating all available items into one menu specifically for Google ordering.  When publishing that menu, be sure to only publish to Google.
