Confirmed.png Order with Google is designed to maximize your restaurant's exposure by allowing customers to order directly from Google maps, Google pay, Assistant and more. Now available for pickup and delivery, Order with Google allows you to take advantage of Google's local search rankings, organic traffic - sending customers directly to you, without any commissions or fees. We can set up your Order with Google account and add it to Otter for you, you’ll just need to fill out this form.

 

What you’ll need to complete the Order with Google setup form

  1. Your Google My Business page link 
  2. Your Stripe API Keys
  3. Details on your delivery setup

1. Your Google My Business profile link

The first step to accepting orders through Google is ensuring you have a Google My Business Profile.

How can I tell if I have a Google Business Profile? 

  • Go to Google.com/maps
  • Search your business name
  • If your business name populates in the drop-down with an address next to it, you have a profile.  

If your restaurant or kitchen doesn’t show up, it’s easy to create your business profile and get your business listed on Google here

2. Your Stripe API Keys

To process payments from Google Orders and get paid by Google, you will need to set up a Stripe account to receive payments. It’s easy to signup and connect it to your existing bank account - Sign up in a few minutes here.

Once your account is up and running, it’s easy to pull the API keys - Follow these steps from stripe.

3. Details on your delivery setup

  • In order to get delivery orders from google you’ll have to let us know how to define the following in Google.
  • Fulfillment type - do you want pickup only, or delivery and pickup
  • If you choose delivery, you’ll need to decide how you define your area
    • Polygon - by area
    • Radius - by distance from your location
    • Postal Code
  • Delivery Fee - how much you want to charge for delivery
  • Delivery Servicer - If you don’t already have a third party logistics or fleet management software integrated with Otter, we recommend DoorDash Drive for Order with Google - get signed up here.
