We’re upgrading your Otter experience to improve reliability and functionality by updating the software on your Otter tablet. This will be done automatically overnight, and you do not need to be present during the update. You will be required to follow some on-screen prompts and log back into your new Otter app. Outlined below are some helpful resources to assist you with this software update.

General Update Information

  • If your store is open late at night, your tablet will be down during the software update, but it should only take about 10 mins.
  • After the update, you’ll need to finish the setup by clicking through a few screens to complete the installation.
  • Once the update is complete, you will need to log back into your Otter Order Manager account and reconnect your printer.
  • Once you are back in the Otter app., you will then need to check that the printer is connected

Logging Back in to Order Manager

After the system update has been completed, you will need to log back into your Otter Order Manager account and reconnect your printer. To assist with this, you should have set up a one-time PIN used to log back into your tablet. If you forgot your PIN use your regular Otter tablet login to log back in.

Printer Assistance
