Otter works directly inside your delivery platform accounts to monitor your business performance and submit disputes on your behalf across DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.
To do this, we need access to each of your stores in the merchant portals. This guide shows you how to grant that access in just a few steps per platform.
When prompted to enter an email address, use Otter's credentials. If the credentials are unavailable, contact Otter Support for assistance.
This guide is organized by delivery platform:
- DoorDash
- Uber Eats
- Grubhub
Complete only the sections for the platforms in use. Each section provides step-by-step instructions for granting Otter access.
Delivery Platforms
Once access has been granted on each delivery platform in use, let the Otter representative know so the connection can be verified. If any issues come up during the process, contact Otter Support for assistance.
Doordash
If this option is not available, the account may not have the required permissions to add stores. Contact the DoorDash account representative or DoorDash Support at mxsupport@doordash.com and request that the stores be added to Otter's credentials.
Step 1
On the user’s Edit user screen, under Stores, select Edit.
Step 2
In the Select stores window, select the relevant stores you’d like to give access to, then select Add stores.
- Step 3
Select Save to apply the changes.
- Step 4
If prompted, enter the 6-digit verification code DoorDash sends to your email and select Submit.
Uber Eats
Step 1
If you manage more than one business, select the correct one from the dropdown at the top, then select Apply.
Step 2
Open Users from the left-hand menu, then select Add user.
Step 3
Enter the user’s full name and the email address provided by Otter, then select Add.
GrubHub
Step 1
From the left menu, select Settings, then Permissions.
Step 2
Open the user Otter set up. Under Restaurants and groups, check the restaurants this user should access, then select Save.
If the options described above are not available, the account may not have the required permissions to add users or stores. Contact the platform's account representative or support team for assistance with granting Otter access to the stores.
