Connecting Otter Cloud Printer via Ethernet Cable
Video Walkthrough of Epson TM-TV88VI
Step Process Image 1 Connect your Otter printer to a power source.
If you have the TM-m30II-NT you will need to pop the back panel to access the ports.
2 Connect your Ethernet cable to your printer and an Ethernet port.
A direct Ethernet connection is the most reliable method of pairing your devices.
If you do not have an Ethernet port accessible, you can connect your Ethernet cable to your router, instead.
If a router is also out of reach, please contact Otter for further support and equipment.
Once your devices are connected, please follow the next steps before turning on your printer.
3 Make sure the printer is turned off. The power switch is on the left side of the printer. 4 Hold the FEED button on the front of the printer. 5 Turn the printer back on while keeping the FEED button pressed down for at least 5 seconds. 6 A slip should print showing your IP address, confirming your printer is connected to the internet. 7 Double-check the IP Address information in the slip that printed.
If the IP address is 192.168.192.168, it means it is NOT connected to the internet.
The IP Address needs to be a unique number, for example: 192.168.19.234 or 192.186.235.321 (IP address always start with 192.168).
8 Double-check the DHCP information in the slip that printed. DHCP needs to state Enable. This ensures it is connected to the printer queue/server.
