Overview
In this article, we will guide you through the process of pairing Bluetooth printer with our Otter device.
A Bluetooth Printer is a type of printer that can be connected to an Otter device using a Bluetooth connection.
Otter-provided printers are pre-configured to automatically print orders once connected to power and internet.

Connecting a Bluetooth Printer
Follow the steps below to connect a bluetooth printer.
Step Process Image 1 From the Otter Dashboard, select Apps > Menus. 2 Select the menu to edit.
Click on the menu item to edit that will be printed on a sticky label.
3 Scroll to Ordering Details section.
Toggle Print on Label ON and save preferences.
4 Unbox printer, install sticker label printer paper, and plug the power cord into a power outlet.
On the Otter POS or tablet, go to Profile > Settings > Hardware tab.
5 Select Add Otter Printer > Rongta > Rongta RP310 model.
Select Setup with Bluetooth Connection.
6 Click [Find My Printer].
Wait for the device to search printers nearby.
7 Select RP-310 from the printer search results.
8 Wait for printer to connect. 9 Once the printer connects successfully, the printer connected notification will pop up and a test ticket will be automatically printed 10 Once connected, you'll be able to:
- Print a test ticket
- Adjust the copy amount
Step Process Image 1 Prepare Printer:
Connect the printer to power and ensure receipt paper is loaded.
2 Enter Pairing Mode:
Open the top cover.
Press and hold the Feed button while powering on, or while the printer is on, until the Paper light flashes.
3 Print Status Sheet:
Close the top cover. The printer will print a status sheet.
4 Activate Pairing:
Briefly press the Feed button once (<1 sec), then hold the Feed button for at least 1 second.
A Bluetooth status sheet will print, and the Bluetooth light will flash.
5 Pair Device:
Open the Bluetooth settings on your tablet or phone and select the Rongta RP328 printer
6 Complete Setup:
Open your POS app.
Select Settings > Hardware, and adjust printer settings.
