Otter KDS Reporting

Overview

Otter KDS Reporting provides restaurants with detailed analytics and metrics related to their Otter KDS actions, such as:

  • Average number of tickets completed per hour
  • Ticket completed per KDS station
  • Hourly ticket volume
  • Raw KDS ticket data

The KDS Report can be found in the Otter Dashboard > Analytics app and is available with the purchase of any Otter KDS product.

 


 

Viewing the KDS Report

The KDS Report can be filtered to provide a customizable report that can flag areas of inefficiency in the kitchen.

The KDS Report can be filtered by:

  • Date & Time
  • Brand
  • Location
  • Kitchen Station
  • KDS Device ID

Follow the steps below to view the KDS report in the Otter Dashboard, and navigate to view specific KDS performance data.

    1From the Otter Dashboard, click Apps > Analytics App.

    2From the left tab options, select the [KDS Report] tab.

    The default view for the KDS Report is the [Fulfillment Time Data] view, which includes:

    • KDS Average Fulfillment Time per Hour
    • KDS Ticket Complete Count per Hour

    The KDS Report also has a Raw Ticket Data view, which includes a full breakdown of:

    • Order IDs
    • Stations
    • Time to Fulfill
    • Brand/Location
    • Channel
    • Received Ticket Timestamp

    To access this view, click on the Raw Ticket Data button at the top of the page.

    This report can be exported into an excel or .CSV file. 

    Click the [Export] button at the top right of the page.

 


 

FAQs

  • No– The KDS report currently only supports filtering by device ID, not the name of the device.
  • Yes– The KDS report data can be exported into an excel or .CSV file by clicking the Export button at the top right of the page.
