Overview
Once you have configured your QR code settings, you can create, download, and print your dine-in QR codes for eaters to scan for digital dine-in.
When generating and printing dine-in QR codes, you’ll have the options to:
- Print QR codes with or without table numbers
- Print the QR code only
- Print QR code to design your own
- Print QR code with template design

Self-design template example
Printing a Dine-in QR Code
From the Otter Dashboard, you’ll be able to generate, download, and print your dine-in QR codes.
Follow the steps below to print your dine-in QR codes, depending on your preferences.

Step Process Image 1 From the Otter Dashboard, select Apps > Direct Orders. 2 Click View Stores for the brand you’d like to edit. 3 Click the 3 dots next to the store you want to print for.
Select Print QR codes.
4 Select Print QR codes with table numbers.
Click [Next].
5 Choose which QR code template you’d like:
- Standard template with table number & instructions listed
- QR code only (each QR code is assigned to a table number)
Click [Next].
6 Select Section name.
Enter table number range under First number and Last number.

Click [+ Add table section] to add another section.
7 Click [Download # QR codes]. 8 PDF will open containing instructions and a page for each QR code.
From there, you can print or download the PDF.
Table Numbers Enabled
Before printing QR codes with table numbers, be sure Table Numbers are enabled.

4 Select Print QR codes without table numbers.
Click [Next].

Click [Download QR codes].
6 PDF will open containing instructions and a page with a QR code.
From there, you can print or download the PDF.
Print Multiples
Since the QR code isn’t assigned a table number, there will only be 1 QR code. You can print multiple of the 1 QR code for eaters to scan.

FAQs
- You can edit existing and add or remove sections/numbers for QR code assignment by going back into Print QR codes for the Organization or Store/Location within the Direct Orders App in the Otter Dashboard.
