How to import photos into Otter from external delivery apps

Summary

If you have existing menu item photos in external delivery apps you can import these directly into Otter. This guide will explain how to do so.

Before adding any photos, please note the OFO photo guidelines below:

  • 1500x900: Hero Image

  • 1080x1080
    (1:1 aspect ratio): Food Items

  • 160x160: Logo

  • 2880x2304: Hero Image

  • 550x440: Food Items

  • No logo

  • 440(w) x 230(h): Hero Image

  • 1400 x 800: Food Items

  • 230(w)px x 230(h) px: Logo
  • 2400×1800: Hero Image
  • 1600×1200: Food Items
  • 200x200: Logo

  1. Access Otter Dashboard
  2. Select Apps in the top-left corner and then select Menus
  3. Select the menu that you'd like to import photos for
  4. Select the Photos tab
  5. Select Import Photos
  • Select a location (in case of multiple location)

  • Select the OFO (one or multiple)

7. Select the delivery app/s that you'd like to import photos from

8. Ensure the checkbox for Assign photos to items automatically is selected

9. Select Import

10. Once the import is complete, the photos will automatically be assigned to the menu items in Otter

Note - If the checkbox for automatic menu assignment was not selected, you will need to assign the photos to the menu items manually

11. Select Publish
