Summary
The following process explains how customers can manually input orders to their Otter Dashboard from non-integrated channels such as phone, in person, social media, and/or other non-integrated channels.
Adding Manual Orders to WebOrder Manager
Customers that have this feature enabled can manually input orders from non-integrated channels by selecting the (+) icon on the top left corner of their Order Manager.
- Log into Order Manager.
- Select the (+) icon on the top left corner of their Order Manager.
- On the right-hand side window, choose a fulfillment mode (delivery, pick up, etc) for the order, then the non-integrated channel the client is ordering from (phone, social media, etc), and finally the client's delivery information and/or personal details, including their payment method.
- For customers with the Menu Management feature enabled, they will be able to see the menu items on the left-hand side.
- Select each item on the menu categories to add them to the order ticket.
- To edit an item's quantity, click on the item already added to the order and use the (-) or (+) buttons.
- Select save item to adjust the order.
- To remove items select Delete.
- For customers without Menu Management, they will have to manually input the total value for the order within the delivery details.
- Finalize the manual order input by choosing the tipping option and selecting the Create Order option.
- These orders will appear on the general Active orders list just like any other order.
Adding a New Manual Order Channel
- Customers may want to add new non-integrated channels at any time. When they reach out to the Support team:
- Navigate to Mission Control or Beam to include a new non-integrated channel.
- Confirm if a Manual Order Channel is Accepting Orders
