Otter POS: How to access Settings (in Otter dashboard)

Summary

The POS application, within Business Manager, is a place that hosts different settings and configurations for our Otter POS users. This is the go to place for an Otter POS user to change configurations and settings for their POS operations.

Instruction

To make changes to your general POS settings such as display images, discount settings and more, you’ll need to access your POS app via Otter Dashboard

  1. Head to your Otter Dashboard on manager.tryotter.com/login.
  2. Log in with your username and password, then head to the POS app under the apps dropdown on the top left corner of your screen.
  3. If you’re using our dual-screen POS terminal, here you can customize your customer-facing display image.

    We currently support two types of images:

    Idle image

    A full-screen image that appears while no orders are being placed. We recommend a 1024x600 px PNG image for this.

    Cart image
    An image that will appear to the right of the cart while an order is placed. We recommend a 600×600 px PNG image for this.
