Overview
The Menus Activity Log allows you to view a detailed record of menu activity, changes made, and users responsible. This helps create quick visibility into all actions performed for your menu(s).
Menu Activity Logs will keep track of the following actions:
- Publishing of a menu
- Publishing of hours
- Item(s) marked available or unavailable
Viewing Menu Activity Logs
When checking the Menu Activity Log, you can filter by:
- Date Range
- Location
- Operation Status
- Menu Action Type
Follow the steps below to view Menu Activity Logs.

Step 1
From the Otter Dashboard, select Apps > Menus.

Click the Activity tab.

Select filters for desired view.

Click the ^ next to the action listed to expand for more details. Learn more about these details here.

Click View details to see what channels this change was published to.
Action Details
When you expand an action listed in the Menu Activity Log, you’ll see more details on:
- Action taken
- User performed action
- When action was taken
- Changes made
- Location applied to
- Status of action
Otter Team User
If you see the user responsible for a menu action listed as Otter Team— this means a team member of the Otter Support Team performed this action.
FAQs
- No— However, you can revert to a previous menu version from the Menu Version History feature.
- Otter will communicate any error details available, but some channels may not provide more information for Otter to display. You can learn and view details about any current publish or menu statuses here for your menu(s).
