Otter’s 27” Standing Kiosk is an interactive, user-friendly touchscreen device that allows guests to place orders independently, without staff assistance. This specific kiosk uses a floor stand, with the option to have a countertop mount coming soon. Additionally, the Standing Kiosk uses an Epson Bluetooth printer to print customer receipts after purchase.
Standing Kiosks come bundled with the following hardware:
- Epson Bluetooth Printer
- 10-Pack Printer Roll 80 mm
- S700 Payment Terminal
Key Features
-
Immersive Touchscreen
27” Otter Standing Kiosk boasts a Full HD interactive touchscreen display, offering crystal-clear visuals and responsive touch capabilities. Designed for intuitive selection and seamless interaction, it significantly enhances the self-ordering experience, making it more engaging and efficient for customers. -
Accessibility-First Design
Self-service terminals typically present information via a touchscreen display. With an accessible keypad, the 27” Otter Standing Kiosk ensures that customers who cannot interact with a touchscreen have equal access to all self-ordering services.
Kiosk Hardware Installation
Otter offers professional Kiosk Installation service for the 27” Standing Kiosks with no additional fee for restaurants in the United States and Canada. We will send a technician to the restaurant site to unbox, build, and install the hardware to ensure the kiosk is assembled and functioning properly.
Before the installation technician leaves, we strongly recommend running a test order on the kiosk (using your own credit card) to confirm the kiosk is ready to process transactions. If the test order is not successful, the technician will be there to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Kiosk installation takes approximately 1 hour per kiosk to fully set up. A manager must be present throughout the time of installation to coordinate with the technician.
Accessing Kiosk Admin Settings
|
If the kiosk is locked in “Kiosk Mode”, you will still be able to access Kiosk Admin Settings since it is within the app. However, you cannot exit the Kiosk app to go to Device Settings if you want to change WiFi network, display brightness, or any other Android settings.
If you tap the bottom of the screen and the home bar does not appear (an arrow allowing you to exit the app), then the kiosk is locked in “Kiosk Mode.”
