Overview
Otter’s Menu Manager gives you the ability to manage your restaurant’s menu for every digital platform from one place.
This allows you to create, edit, update, and publish a menu across different channels from the Otter Dashboard— without having to log in and edit from each individual service your menu is offered on.

Menu Manager Integrations
Using Menu Manager, you can manage menus for all connected platforms— for example: Otter POS, Third-party POS, or delivery partners.
This process works with three major steps:
- Channel Integrated: A channel is integrated with Otter, allowing you to create, view, & edit menus within Otter.
- Menu Created in Otter: A menu is created within the Otter Dashboard by manually building a menu, importing from a connected platform, or using an Excel template. Here, the menu can be edited and managed.
- Menu Published to Platforms: Otter publishes menu(s) to all connected and selected platforms from one source of truth (Otter).

Navigating Menu Manager
View the different information that can be viewed and actions available to take on the Menus page and the Menu Overview page within the Menus App on the Otter Dashboard.

By clicking on Apps > Menus from the Otter Dashboard, you will land on the Menus page.
Here you can:

By clicking on a menu listed on the Menus page, you will land on that menu’s overview page— where you will be able to view and edit menu details for that specific menu.
You can view & edit:
- Menu settings
- Menu categories, modifiers/modifier groups, & items
- Menu hours
- Menu photos
- Menu translations (for Otter Kiosk only)
- Menus, category, and item order
- Menu Pricing Rules

Effectively Using Menu Filters
Menu filters can help you quickly find the menu items you wish to view or edit. This allows you to efficiently locate menu items to select for bulk updates— saving you time and effort needed to make menu changes.
Example of using menu filters to quickly make bulk updates:
I want to quickly locate all available
Combos on my menu to
increase the price for delivery platforms at all of my locations.
Instead of having to manually locate all desired menu items, to easily do
this using menu filters:
- Go to the Items tab view.

Click [All Filters] to select:
- Combos under Categories filter
- Delivery Service under Channels filter
- Available under Availability filter
- Check to select all menu items shown.
- Click [$Update prices] from the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Select all my locations listed. Click [Continue].
- Select to Change price > By Channel.
- Fill in the price change desired. Click [Change prices].
- Publish to desired channels and locations.
- Success! All available Combos have increased price for delivery platforms for all locations.
The filters available depend on the menu view you’ve selected at the top of the Menu Overview page (ex: Choosing to view per Categories, Items, or Modifier Groups).
