Otter Handheld Display
Otter Handhelds have a display similar to that of the standard Otter POS terminal. However, it is slightly scaled down to fit into a handheld device, allowing you to still take orders and process payments with ease.

Otter Handheld Limitations
Due to the Handheld's size and slight differences in software, the device has a few notable limitations.

| Menus App |
Menu edits and 86ing are not available on the Handheld device. Menu edits must be made in the Otter Dashboard, and 86ing must be done on the tablet/terminal or in Otter Dashboard. For example: If you do not automate menu publishing, Otter will only reflect the changes from the POS on the Otter Menu. The menu changes will not transfer to your delivery partners. |
| Analytics App |
Analytics data cannot be accessed in the Analytics app on the device. To view analytics data, go to the Analytics app on the POS terminal or in Otter Dashboard. |
| KDS App | The Handheld device does not include the KDS app and cannot be used as a mobile KDS. |
| Printed Receipts |
At this time, the Handheld device does not print receipts. Receipts need to be printed from the standard POS terminal. |
