With the initial Skip the Dishes integration, there are some limitations. Learn more about those limitations below:
Manual Order Acceptance:
- Orders from Skip the Dishes cannot be manually accepted from the Otter tablet. You can utilize Otter’s Auto-Accept Orders for Skip the Dishes orders, however, if you do not enable auto-accept for Skip the Dishes— you will need to manage those orders through your Skip the Dishes tablet.
Pausing/Unpausing a Storefront:
- With the initial Skip the Dishes connection, Skip the Dishes does not allow Otter to pause or unpause a storefront— this also means Otter would not be able to send Live Alert notifications when a storefront is offline or paused. This will need to be done through the Skip the Dishes portal.
Menu Importing & Holiday Hours:
- With the initial Skip the Dishes connection, Skip the Dishes does not support importing a menu or setting special or holiday hours through Otter. Special hours will still be able to be set through the Skip the Dishes portal.
Upgrading your integration will strengthen your Otter x Skip the Dishes connection to prevent any possible connection issues and eliminate the limitations above. Once upgraded, you’ll be able to manage your menu, orders, and menu hours through Otter— making it easy to manage across all platforms from one place.
