Summary
The Otter iOS app is our IOS app aimed at helping Business Manager users better understand their metrics on the go. The app allows users to interact with their store performance (i.e. total sales, order volume, insights, etc.), pause/unpause their storefronts, adjust auto-accept, and visualize cancelled orders. As a reminder, this app does not allow the user to process orders.

What does the iOS App do?

This app has (2) main focuses. Providing data on performance and admin access to adjusting store settings.

The goal is that a business owner could open the app and be able to see how is my business doing? as well as make some quick adjustments on their side (i.e. controlling auto accept, etc.)
What experiences are NOT included in this app?

You cannot manage orders via this app. Meaning, you cannot process orders.

You cannot sign up as a new customer via the app. Only plan upgrades are allowed.
Why did we make this?

We want to empower our business owners to be able to stay on top of their operations and make sure they reduce unavailability.

We want our customers to have more access to the data for their stores.
What countries is this live for?

Global except for China.
Why might a customer use this app?

They can control their storefront status right from their pocket.

Can I still log in to Business Manager on my phone browser?

An Android version of the app is not yet available at this time. You can continue to use your web browser to log in to Otter Business Manager
Installing the Otter iOS App
- Navigate to the App Store on IOS and search for ‘Otter - Restaurant Dashboard
- Look for the app with this logo and click ‘Get’
- Once the download is completed click on the app
- Click through our quick app introduction
- Then use your Business Manager credentials to sign in
- Welcome to Otter iOS app
Troubleshooting

Why can’t I download the app? What iOS versions are needed?

Currently this app is only available for iPhone and Requires iOS 14.0 or later.

Why can’t I login to the app?

Currently the app is only available to admin users of our business manager product. Please confirm that you have admin access with your account owner. If this continues, please reach out to Otter Support.
