The Menu Version History feature in the Menus app in Business Manager allows you to view recent menu publishes and restore to a previous version.

  1. The "Menu version history" button is accessible through the Menus app in Business Manager next to the "Preview Menu" and "Publish" buttons.
  2. The entire menu template and store configuration can be restored, including POS (point-of-sale) links.
  3. It is compatible with all ordering channels that support Menus.
  4. Custom notes can be added to distinguish between menu versions for clearer identification.
  5. Menu conflicts can be solved effortlessly without altering location settings.
  6. POS links are restored when restoring a previous menu version.
  7. Any adjustments that were made to POS links post-publish will need to be made again.

How do I restore a previous menu version?

  1. Go to the Menus app in your Otter dashboard.
  2. Select the desired menu for your restaurant.
  3. Click the Version history button.
  4. Select a previous version and click Restore menu version.
  5. Confirm by clicking Restore menu version.

How far back does the version go?

All historic versions are available for restoration. The modal displays the most recent 10 versions with previous versions available on the subsequent pages.
