Otter Canada: Skip The Dishes Menu Management

Overview

Otter has released enhancements to our Canadian Skip The Dishes integration, which will allow users to publish menus from Otter and other delivery partners to Skip The Dishes. Enhancements include Prep Time, Availability, Item 86’ing, and Item Adjustments via the Skip The Dishes Support team.

 

PLEASE NOTE:
In order to grant access to these integration features, we need your express permission to update your account. You can do this from inside the Otter app in the announcement center or by submitting your information via this form: Skip The Dishes Integration Consent Form.

 

Opting into the updated integration means you will no longer have access to make any menu edits on the Skip The Dishes Web Portal. You will be able to make edits on the Skip Restaurant Partner App and via Otter. Please refer to the FAQ below for key changes once the update has been made.

 


 

FAQ

How do I update my Skip The Dishes menu?

You can update your menu via a delivery partner connected to your account or with our Self Serve Menu Management tool and publish it directly to your Skip account. If there are further questions concerning utilizing the Self Serve Menu Management tool, please contact success@tryotter.com so our team can further assist you. 

 

What if I do not have Self Serve Menu Management?

Please contact customer support for help via Chat, Telephone, SMS/text, or Email.

How can I update item availability on my menu?

You can update item availability on the Skip The Dishes Restaurant Partner App. 
Note: Any availability changes you make in the app will be reset if you publish a menu from Otter to Skip.

 

How can I update my menu cuisine tags?

Use the support chat feature within the Skip The Dishes Restaurant Partner App or the Restaurant Manager portal.

 

How can I update my logo and hero images?

Use the support chat feature within the Skip The Dishes Restaurant Partner App or the Restaurant Manager portal.

 

How do I update my availability?

You can update your availability on the Skip The Dishes Restaurant Partner App.

 

Does this change anything about my Skip Promotions?

Some promotions are included in the Skip integration with the API, such as Free Delivery and Top Placement, but a free item promotion is in the pipeline to be created, but not an option at the moment.

  • Live Orders - See live orders as they come in - click to see the status of the order. You can also adjust Availability and Prep Time from the Availability drop-down.
  • Order History - See past orders and click for detailed order information.
  • Menu Management - A real-time view of item availability with the ability to make adjustments. Access to item updates and change requests. 
  • Help & Support - In-app self-help portal with a menu change request process as well as links to email and live phone support.
